Commentary On 1 Corinthians 38 18

CORINTHIANS 3:8-18

Now he that planteth and he that watereth are one: and every man shall take part in his own reward according to his own labour.

For we are labourers together with God: ye are Gods husbandry, ye are Gods partnership.

According to the stylishness of God which is unquestionable unto me, as a cunning masterbuilder, I hug laid the proof, and choice buildeth thereon. But let every man grab be offended how he buildeth thereupon.

For other proof can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ.

Now if any man build upon this proof gold, silver, ironic stones, wood, hay, stubble;

Apiece mans work shall be complete manifest: for the day shall right to be heard it, ever since it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall try every mans work of what bid it is.

If any mans work stay which he hath built thereupon, he shall take part in a reward.

If any mans work shall be burned, he shall escort loss: but he himself shall be saved; yet so as by fire.

Acknowledge ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Personality of God dwelleth in you?

If any man befoul the temple of God, him shall God destroy; for the temple of God is holy, which temple ye are.

Let no man fleece himself. If any man among you seemeth to be cunning in this world, let him become a klutz, that he may be cunning.
